The 2024 National Catholic Handbell Festival
You are invited to join us for the 2024 National Catholic Handbell Festival! Groups of ringers or solo ringers are accepted for this event in Kansas City, Missouri, on July 8, 2024. The festival will conclude in a concert as part of the National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM) National Convention.
The Handbell Institute at the 2024 NPM Convention, with clinician Lauran Delancy, will be a great opportunity to expand your handbell skills, discover new music, and have fun ringing together! Your precision, technique, and musicality will all be challenged, as we work together to bring the music to life. The Handbell Institute will be a full day of ringing, culminating in a performance that evening. The music will be made available to you in advance, so you can come prepared and ready to take it to the next level. With a variety of pieces and styles in the chosen repertoire, multiple handbell ensembles will join together for a glorious sound!
About the Handbell Festival

Who can ring?: Ringers of all levels of experience are invited to participate. Both handbell groups and solo ringers can join.
Do ringers need to register for the NPM Convention? No. registration for the full convention is not required to participate in the 2024 National Catholic Handbell Festival.
Cost: $80 (includes handbell music and clinician fees; does not include meals or cost of parking)

Registration deadline: June 1, 2024
Cancellation policy: Cancellation must be requested by June 8 with a $15 processing fee at that time. Refunds will be processed by August 15.
About the Clinician: Lauran Delancy
Lauran Delancy holds a BA in Parish Music and a Master of Church Music from Concordia University Wisconsin. She fell in love with handbells in high school and has enjoyed ringing, composing, directing, and teaching ever since. Lauran has served several terms on the Area 8 Board of Handbell Musicians of America and taught at Area and National Festivals. She currently serves as the Director of Choirs and Handbells at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church in Olathe, Kansas where she has vibrant program with multiple handbell ensembles beginning at age 3.

Hotel Details:
• $159/night room rate (plus applicable taxes and fees)
• Available dates for NPM special room rate: July 6-12, 2024
• All registrations must be booked by June 22, 2024
Please note: All reservations will be accompanied by a one-night room deposit. Parking is available at the rate of $25/day for self-park and $35/day for valet parking.
