Women's History Month: Honoring Women in the Church Today

During the month of March we celebrate the women that shape us and love us into being. Those who fight against the injustices of our society today. Women in religious life who are our spiritual guides. And those among us who lead and serve the Church in lay ministry. We are honored to celebrate you!

Balancing Ministry and Motherhood (2020 National Convention)

To celebrate Women’s History Month we are offering a breakout from the 2020 National Convention for free, throughout the month of March.

Every vocation flows from the font, including motherhood and the call to ministry. Catholic mothers not only provide daily care for their children and families, but are expected, now more than ever, to monitor how their children spend their time regarding school work, hobbies, entertainment, social media, and more, yet pastoral ministry often requires evening and weekend work and long-distance travel away from home. How can one possibly get it all done and done well? Join three pastoral musician moms with children of various ages, to explore the joys and challenges of balancing motherhood and ministry. All music ministry moms – and those who care about them – are invited to come learn new strategies and fresh ideas for keeping priorities in order, setting appropriate boundaries, and truly ministering within your vocation in healthy, effective, life-giving ways.
