Our Mission: The National Association of Pastoral Musicians (NPM)
The National Association of Pastoral Musicians fosters the art of musical liturgy. The members of NPM serve the Catholic Church in the United States as musicians, clergy, liturgists, and other leaders of prayer.
NPM hosts an annual National Convention at a location which changes each year. The 2023 National Convention will be at the Nugget Hotel in Sparks, Nevada, from July 10-14.
About Our Membership
NPM is a national association that seeks to offer educational opportunities and professional networking for all pastoral ministers in the Catholic Church today.
Our membership is comprised of 3,000 members with local chapters supporting most regions across the United States. We have 3 tiers of membership, which are made for all levels of musical skill and involvement, from the cantor to the choir member, ensemble member to choir director, organist to accompanist, Director of Music and Diocesan Director of Music, and everything in between.
